Construction of Mumbra Bypass on Old Mumbai - Pune Road, BOT Basis

The project involves construction of the Mumbra Bypass on Old Mumbai - Pune Road NH-4 from Km 133/800 to Km 138/200 on Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) Basis. This bypass aims to alleviate traffic congestion and improve connectivity between Mumbai and Taloja/JNPT.

Scope of Work The project envisages investment by the developer and recovery of investment with interest etc. by collecting toll from the users.

The scope includes construction of a new bypass road to bypass Kausa and Mumbra, incorporating modern design standards and safety features along with viaduct and ROB over ROB on Parsik tunnel. The road will enhance travel efficiency and safety for commuters traveling between Thane and Kalamboli/JNPT.

Project Cost: INR 229 Cr.
